Beginner surf camp in Spain: El Palmar, Andalusia
Your first surf camp, no experience needed.
Our beginner surf camp is designed for people who have never stood on a surfboard. You combine several days of 2-hour surf lessons with accommodation by the beach, so you practise every day and progress fast: first ocean safety and paddling, then the pop-up and your first waves in the white water, and by the end of the camp, longer and longer rides.
El Palmar is one of the best beaches in Spain to learn to surf: 8 km of sand with no rocks or reefs and soft, consistent waves from autumn to spring. Groups have a maximum of 8 people with qualified instructors, and we teach in English, Spanish, German, French and Italian. You only need to be able to swim.
